Once again, the escape from mt crawford enduro will close out the wellington enduro series.

The annual-ish fundraiser for the Miramar Trail Project is back, with all the usual great tracks, great banter and relaxed social vibe

you won't want to miss it.

option 1: ESCAPE FROM MT CRAWFORD (MINI) ENDURO

There will be two classes and we'll use all trails in the reserve (not including Topatopa). Misdemeanour will not use Solitary.

Each racer gets 3 timed runs, lowest overall time for 3 completed runs wins.

  1. Misdemeanour - all runs of a slightly easier nature
  2. Felony -  all runs on more technical tracks

Placing in Felony class count towards the Wellington Enduro Series overall.

At the end of each run, there will be an non-timed liaison stage back up  to the start of the course.

The race will be un-shuttled, and you can ride, push, crawl or carry to the top, but using a private shuttle, or using any other means to get to the start line at the top of the hill is an instant DSQ.

option 2: home detention sufferfest

All of the fun of the (mini) Duro, with an added hill climb. That's right, we're bring back the hill climb stage for those that don't think that enduro has enough uphills in it these days. The hill climb stage will take place before the descending stages, so there will be plenty of time for heckling passing on supportive comments to other racers.

Sufferfest entries are the same cost as the (mini) Duro, so you'll get more racing for free! Why not give yourself the challenge of racing downhill stages having already blown your foofoo valve beforehand, and beginning to wonder if the servo pie on the way wasn't the best idea?

We might be able to offer late entries on the day - keep an eye on our facebook page for more details of this. On the day entries are $40.
