aro valley's favourite enduro returns
The Wellington Enduro Series returns to the swooping trails of Aro Valley and Te Kopahou Reserve, with the 2025 Waimapihi Enduro.
As with previous years, we'll have a hard and an intermediate course, with a mixture of the classics and a brand new trails in the in the mix. The race will have multiple timed stages, and a "king and queen of the hill" award for the fastest male and female riders.
And this time, to make it easier to get up to the top of the hill, there will be a single shuttle uplift up to the wind turbine to save your legs for the race stages.
ALEX CHRONIS MEMORIAL PRIZE
For the third year, we're honoured to be offering the Alex Chronis Memorial Prize for the most outstanding junior racer. Alex was a long-standing member of the Wellington mountain bike community, and once again we're grateful for the support of W H Worralls and Co for their support of the prize.

ABLE TO HELP OUT?
Events like this don't run themselves, and we rely on the help of a big group of people. If you're able to help on the day, please let us know at the volunteer sign-up page. We provide a yummy lunch, a bright orange vest, some liquid post-race refreshments, plenty of karma boosts, and all the trail-side chat you can handle.
ON-THE-DAY PRICES
There may be limited on the day entries. Registering online is highly recommended to speed things up on the day and save on registration. Entry prices on the day will be $40 (members) and $60 (non-members)
TRAVELLING TO THE WAIMAPIHI ENDURO
The event village will be located at the grassy park at the bottom of Waimapihi Reserve, on upper Aro Street. Car parking is limited, so please ride to the trails. If you're driving in to town, consider parking on Ohiro Road or Brooklyn, and riding from there.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
In the event that you are no longer able to attend (and notify us by the Friday prior to the event) or the event is canceled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances – we are unable to provide refunds, so instead we will credit your WMTBC account. You can use the credit to pay for future events, WMTBC membership or as a donation to Wellington trails.
